Louis P. Theriot, MD, FAAP

Pediatrician

Dr. Theriot is a board-certified pediatrician and partner at Pediatric Medical Center with over 40 years of experience. He serves as an Associate Clinical Professor of Pediatrics at both the Keck School of Medicine of USC and the UCI School of Medicine, where he teaches and mentors medical students and pediatric residents. He values "old-school" pediatrics—building lasting relationships with families and caring for children from newbornhood through adulthood.

Lori Livingston, MD, FAAP

Lori Livingston, MD, FAAP

Pediatrician

Dr. Livingston is a board-certified pediatrician at Pediatric Medical Center, as well as an Assistant Clinical Professor of Pediatrics at the UCI School of Medicine. She enjoys partnering with families through every stage of childhood and finds deep meaning in preventive care, guidance on nutrition and sleep, and supporting children with behavioral and emotional challenges. As a parent herself, she understands firsthand the joys and stresses of raising children and strives to help families feel confident, supported, and informed.

Brinda Singh, MD, FAAP

Pediatrician

Dr. Singh is a board-certified pediatrician and Assistant Clinical Professor of Pediatrics at the UCI School of Medicine. She brings a broad clinical background that includes years as a pediatric hospitalist caring for acutely ill children before returning to outpatient pediatrics. Dr. Singh values compassionate, thoughtful care and enjoys watching her patients grow and forming close bonds with their families.

Erica Veeh, MD, FAAP

Erica Veeh, MD, FAAP

Pediatrician

Dr. Veeh is a Southern California native who returned to the area after completing her pediatric training to care for local families. She has worked extensively as a pediatric hospitalist before transitioning back to outpatient pediatrics, bringing valuable experience caring for both routine and complex conditions. She also enjoys teaching and supervising pediatric residents and medical students and is committed to thoughtful, evidence-based, family-centered care.

Michael L. Goodin, MD, FAAP
In Memoriam

Michael L. Goodin, MD, FAAP

Pediatrician

In Memoriam: Dr. Michael Goodin passed away peacefully on July 22 after a long illness, surrounded by his loving family. His compassion, faith, loyalty, and quiet wit touched countless lives. Though deeply missed, his spirit and example live on at Pediatric Medical Center. Dr. Goodin dedicated his life to caring for children and supporting families with compassion, humility, and deep commitment. Born in a small town in Nebraska, he pursued medicine at Creighton University before completing his pediatric training at Children’s Hospital of Los Angeles, where he also served as Chief Resident. Dr. Goodin joined Pediatric Medical Center in 1971 and remained a beloved physician and mentor for decades, teaching pediatric residents and modeling kindness, patience, and attentive listening in every patient encounter.

Before medical school, Dr. Goodin served in the U.S. Air Force, where he met his wife Jeanne. Married for 63 years, they raised three daughters and shared nine grandchildren who adored their “Pappa.”

John H. Samson, MD
Retired

John H. Samson, MD

Pediatrician

Dr. John Samson devoted more than six decades to the care of children, adolescents, and young adults, while shaping generations of physicians through teaching and mentorship. After graduating from Creighton Medical School, he completed pediatric residency training before serving as Chief of Pediatrics during his time in the United States Air Force. Dr. Samson later held faculty appointments at the USC School of Medicine and the UCI School of Medicine, while caring for patients at Pediatric Medical Center beginning in 1970. He viewed pediatrics as far more than medicine: believing pediatricians are counselors, mentors, advocates, and lifelong supporters of their patients.
